This app doesnt always work. Have to constantly reset and shut down. Very unreliable. Major improvements needed.

The convenience of having a monitor where I can log in from anywhere was SO appealing!! However, the app takes, on average, five times before you can log in. Then when you do, if you dont hit ok in time when it asks if youre still watching, it logs you off. Suuuuuper annoying, not to mention, that doesnt work when youre trying to sleep. Thus, you need a second monitor. Stupid. This app is quite possibly one of the worst ones I have on my phone. All in all, go with a different monitor until they can get their act together. As an aside, it would be nice if the monitor came with its own handheld monitor as well as the capability to log in from a mobile device. Using up your phone to monitor your baby isnt awesome, either.

Every time there is a time change this app goes down. Poor development and likely contractor used for app. Typically takes 1-2 weeks to be fixed. Customer service told me this is old system and this app is old. Ongoing issue with this app. Ridiculous that paid 199 for this and they refuse better response

This is hands down the worst app I have downloaded. It takes at least three tries to get it to log in past the first screen, and times out if you dont watch it closely. I have had this app on an iPhone 5, 5c and my wifes 6 and have had the same issue over and over. I cannot understand how several reviewers claim not to have issues when so many of us do. Will not buy Summer Infant for the next baby due in September.

This app is terrible. It rarely signs in the first time, instead giving several different error messages. If you are needing to quickly check on your baby, forget it! I really wish I would have read the reviews of the APP, prior to registering for the monitor!

The app NEVER works. This monitor should be recalled or fixed. It has never really worked and I pd good money for it.

I guess were not going to fix this, then? Since the last reviews I see on here are from 2013, it is safe to say that you have abandoned this app and care as much about customer service as you do monitoring babies. I wish you as much continued success in business as I have had success using this app; zero-point-none percent. Maybe you will find yourself driving your car and parking it somewhere as you run an errand. As you come out you notice that your car has been clipped by another vehicle. As you feel some semblance of hope when you look to a "this area under video surveillance" sign, I hope you endeavor into the store only to be told the camera doesnt work...like your crummy app.

Hi, app is not bad but outdated, it would be nice to have the right display ratio for iPhones and also auto-login, if you are not interested, would you mind to open the source code? Thanks

Once it works it works very well - until it doesnt. It generally takes 4-5 tries to load (bad coding). It will time out in 10 - so its not so much a "monitor" but a gimmick. I see it as a design flaw because even when it times out, the phone wont shut off. Thats what you want when monitoring, but not when it times out. Too bad. Please fix these simple problems that ruin the experience.

This is not the official Summer Infant app. Search "Summer Infant Wifi" and look for the app developed by Summer Infant USA for the legit one.

We mistakenly purchased this baby monitor thinking it would help us to monitor our baby. Apparently the number one function of this app (and the "camera" that came with it) is to familiarize me with the Summer logo since that is what is on the display 90% of the time Im trying to use it, with a blinking "Camera Offline", "Failed Login" or "Out of Range" message. On the off chance that we are lucky enough to actually see a video stream of our sleeping child, youre good for a 15 minute nap before you are logged out and have to start the whole aggravating process again. The auto-lockout feature is incredibly frustrating and I dont think I want to live in a society where anyone would find it appealing. This app makes my life more difficult. I cant believe stores still sell this product.

My husband and I bought this monitor on sale from Amazon because the model was being discontinued. I was really intrigued by this monitor because it had this app to view at anytime. Right after our little guy was born (1/19/16) the app worked great for checking his crib when he was with my MIL while we were out. However, now its always telling me the monitor "out of range" when the camera and monitor themselves are working perfectly. I go back to work tomorrow, and Im extremely disappointed that the app isnt working. I was really looking forward to occasionally being able to check in and see if/how my little guy was napping.

I have been using this monitor and app for almost three years and I truly LOVE them! They are so wonderful because my husband and I can log-on to multiple devices and see our daughter without having to fight over one monitor. I especially love this app because I work at night and I can log-on at work and see how my sweet baby is doing. One night while my husband and daughter were asleep at home I went to the grocery store and was able to watch her sleep in her crib using this app. It gave me SO much peace of mind. It can go in and out of range sometimes; but Ive always got it to work after restarting the base thats hooked up to the Internet. As a working mom this app/monitor really really helped me feel better about going back to work after being out on maternity leave knowing I could check in on my little girl at home anytime I wanted.

The monitor works fine. The app does not. I am not able to login at all. It says the camera is offline, which it is not. I have both the handheld monitor and wall monitor on and the app still wont open. Not worth it if you are looking to buy a monitor with a phone app.

Just got this a few days ago and this app has only let me login twice. Developer needs to update and get this fixed. This product is still being sold and customers expect there to be a working app to go with it.

As a working mother, I thoroughly enjoyed being able to login to my app at work and at least be able to see my baby. It was wonderful for the first week then the app stopped working. It continues to say "camera offline", when the camera is fine and luckily the monitor still works. Please, please fix the app.
